From the Family Bookshelf — May and June

It’s been a slow reading month. No one is moving fast with their reading assignments. The girls are supposed to be reading 20 minutes a night, but if we get in 10 minutes each night we’re doing well. End of the school year activities and sports are keeping us busy.

Dad is still reading A Light in Zion, the fourth book of the Zion Chronicles by Bodie and Brock Thoene. The Lil’ Diva and Lil’ Princess are reading Nobody’s Secret by Michaela MacColl and Mallory and Mary Ann Take New York by Laurie B. Friedman for school. At home, we’re still making our way through Scarlet by Marissa Meyer and Eight Keys by Suzanne LaFleur.

My reading schedule has been mostly comprised of children’s books lately, but I also managed to finish The Brotherhood by Jerry Jenkins and Chasing Invisible by Karen Pokras Toz. Here is what I’ve read since my last posting:

Touch & Feel Farm compiled by Tiger Tales (children’s)
