If you have a new little one you are hoping to give a good head start to, then the My First Lift and Learn series from tiger tales is going to become your new best friend.

First Colors and First Numbers are sturdy board books for children ages 0 – 3 years. Vibrant photographs and page designs come alive on each page of First Colors with text asking “What color is the….?” Underneath the lift up flap, your child will find not only the color but other items that are of the same color with their words, too. The other neat thing is that the color of each inside page matches the color you’re reading about, so the strawberry page is red and the butterfly page is purple. numbers

First Numbers takes your little one from one through ten. Bright colors and adorable photographs of creatures, foods, and familiar things are found inside. The question “How many (item) can you count?” is above the lift up flap. When your youngster pulls up that flap, she will find the number, along with a large numeral for the child to trace with her finger. So, the page with one cupcake has the numeral one on the flap, along with “one cupcake” printed underneath.

The handles allow your child to pick up and take these books wherever they go, making them perfect for car rides and a before nap time read.
